Armin Altweger is a seasoned entrepreneur with a decade of residence in Brazil and an extensive history of international business travel. With expertise in finance, product development, and innovation, Armin has built a global career, serving as a consultant for major multinational corporations such as Andritz Hydro Plants, Volkswagen Trucks, and Audi AG.
Fluent in German, English, and Portuguese, Armin has a complete academic background. He holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in International Management and Economics from the University of Applied Sciences in Steyr and Plekhanov Univer 2sity, and a Master’s degree in Product Management and Innovation from the University of Applied Sciences in Wels. Additionally, Armin is a CFA Level 2 candidate and holds a private pilot’s license.
In 2010, Armin played a pivotal role as a business consultant in founding W1 Finance, a Brazilian company dedicated to democratising personal financial planning to improve clients’ financial well-being. Rising to the position of managing partner at W1 Finance, he oversaw substantial growth, expanding the team from 20 to 350 consultants and serving over 50,000 clients after assuming leadership in 2014. He also co-developed a management and consulting software for the company.
Since 2019, Armin has been working with regulated FIDC funds in Brazil, showcasing his strategic vision in this growing sector. He has managed a diverse and dynamic portfolio, encompassing not only receivables financing funds but also specialised consulting services and comprehensive credit analysis.
Embracing technological advancements, Armin has championed the integration of a FinTech and CreditTech company into his portfolio, leveraging blockchain technology as its underlying ledger to ensure transparency and security in credit operations.
